  6.   DESCRIPTION OF THE F9 KEY
  7.      F9 = THE MERGE RETURN KEY
  8.         The F9 Key marks the end of a field within a record of a secondary
  9.         merge file.  The characters used to mark the end of the file are
  10.         CONTROL R and a HARD RETURN.
  11.         When a merge is executed, the primary file may request information
  12.         about a specific field form each record in the secondary file.
  13.         These fileds are defined by MERGE RETURN codes.  The first field
  14.         is marked F1, the second F2, and so on.
  15.         The MERGE RETURN key will also signal the end of the text input from
  16.         the keyboard.  During a merge all text from the keyboard msut be
  17.         followed by a MERGE RETURN for the merge to continue.
  18.   END OF KEY DESCRIPTION

  20.      Exit the review mode if it was entered using CONTROL SHIFT and then type
  21.      the ESCAPE KEY to replace the help screen with the F9 function screen.
