  32. /   = moves cursor to upper window
  33. F1  = help screen

  39. x) To use the config file (D.CFG) that comes with MasterDOS set the
  40.    environment variable MASTERDOS to the complete pathname of the file:
  41.  
  42.    ie.   A> SET MASTERDOS=C:\TOOLS\D.CFG
  43.  
  44. x) The [S]ubdirectory [N]ame_change command only works with DOS version 3.xx
  45.  
  46. x) In the terminal mode output can be logged to the printer if you
  47.    capture to the filename "LPT1" and say append when asked. This has
  48.    been verified on DOS 3.10 only.

  50. x) Break can be sent in the terminal mode with CONTROL_BREAK.

  52. x) Not all commands are listed in the help window but are explained
  53.    in detail in the manual.

  55. x) New features with v1.07
  56.    1) Print now uses DOS print if you are using DOS 3.xx and PRINT.COM
  57.       is installed. The disadvantage is you no longer can do a HEX dump
  58.       of the file unless PRINT.COM is not installed.
  59.    2) Top window is more explanatory in of what commands are available
  60.       from the window by using the '/' key.

  62. x) New features with v1.08
  63.    - The polling of the tree is now automatic, but it may me disabled
  64.      in the config file. Just set TREE=NO and it act the same way
  65.      as previous versions.

  67.    - MasterDOS now looks in the path for the D.CFG file if the
  68.      environment variable MASTERDOS is not set.
  69.  
  70.    - ALT_H in terminal mode allows you to connect to MasterHOST (TM)
  71.      and xmit any key that is non standard. This is indicated
  72.      by VT100H:.

  74.      Note: MasterHOST (TM) will be available in the near future.

  76. x) New features with v1.09
  77.    - ATI EGA Wonder(tm) support has been added to the Terminal emulation.
  78.      By setting the environment variable (A> SET VIDEO=ATI) then 132 column
  79.      mode is supported. Other video boards can be supported if the technical
  80.      information is mailed to the address above for the video board in use.
  81.    - Also added to the VT100 emulation, printer support with 
  82.      the commands <ESC>[5i and <ESC>[4i, which turns the printer ON 
  83.      and OFF respectively.
  84.    - The COM buffer was increased from 256 bytes to 1K bytes
  85.    - ALT_B added to terminal section to change baud rates on the fly.
  86.    - Now if you hold the ALT key down for a few seconds in the terminal mode
  87.      then a menu will come appear displaying the available options.
  88.    - The function of the ESC key has been changed to clear an input before
  89.      aborting an input.

  100. 1.07    VT100 simulation did not work properly with new EDT editor version
  101.     on 4.1 VAX/VMS (tm). Now works fine with this version.

  103. 1.08    If parameters were passed on the command line sometimes the
  104.     config file would not be read. Parameters must come after any
  105.     wildcard entry on the command line.

  109. 1.09    There were many problems with the ASCII Xmit and Capture modes.
  110.     This has now been fixed.
