  6.         Forth Programmer's Portable Editor
  7.  
  8.         A new editor for Forth programmers using the IBM PC or
  9.         compatibles is now available.  It is powerful, fast, easy to
  10.         learn and to use, can be customized, and can be used with any
  11.         Forth for the PC.  Forth programmers can now have their own
  12.         standard editor, no matter what Forth version they may encounter
  13.         on the PC.

  15.         The editor is supplied as an object module which can be loaded
  16.         as a resident overlay by any Forth program.  It resides in a
  17.         memory segment different from the Forth program by which it is
  18.         loaded.  It is available for both stand-alone and DOS resident
  19.         versions of Forth.

  21.         The editor is screen oriented and has a rich set of line and
  22.         screen Move and Copy functions as well as fast Find, List, and
  23.         Search-and-Replace functions.  It can access Forth screens via
  24.         DOS files or direct media read-write (either through DOS or BIOS
  25.         calls).  It includes facilities for moving screens between files
  26.         and from files to direct blocks (on the same or different
  27.         media).

  29.         The editor can be used to edit screens using either of two
  30.         access methods.  A single screen at a time may be resident in
  31.         memory or a set of up to sixty contiguous screens may be brought
  32.         into memory and edited as a group.  Accessing media a single
  33.         screen at a time allows fast random access to any screen on the
  34.         media, while accessing contiguous sets of up to sixty screens
  35.         provides very fast screen management.

  51.         retail price of $20.00 and is also available for vendor
  52.         distribution.  Documentation is currently provided as ASCII and
  53.         screen files.
