- HOW TO RECORD YOUR OWN KEYSTROKE MARCOS:
- ----------------------------------------
- Smart Key (or Macro) Recording in PC-File+ is very simple. Get to the
- position in the database where your want the macro to begin, and press
- (Alt)Y. The macro reminder will pop-up indicating that you are
- turning macro recording on. After you press enter, all subsequent
- keystrokes will be recorded (with a beep with each one to remind you
- that you are recording). When you are done doing what you want to do
- again (the nature of macros!), press (Alt)Y again. First you will be
- prompted for what key to store it in. Press Alt with the appropriate
- key you wish to use, being careful not write over a previously
- programmed one which you want to use again. After that, enter a brief
- description of what the macro does (this is what you will see when you
- pull up the Smart Key Menu from the main menu screen).
-
- Smart Keys may be edited to enter special commands or to fine tune
- what the keys do. Consult the PC-File+ Manual or the quick reference
- CARD file for allowed commands in macros.
