  6. A simple use of this communications program would be to dump a file
  7. through the serial port using xon/xoff protocol.  It can do more, like
  8. executing a "connect" script before doing the dump, and executing a
  9. disconnect script after doing the dump.  We use it to send files over
  10. the DATAKIT networks to shared printers.  Note that it can also
  11. display received data, so that if your printer talks back, you can see
  12. it.

  14. YOU MUST CONFIGURE THE PROGRAM BEFORE USING IT.

  16. If all you need to do is to dump files using xon/xoff, set the
  17. "connect" and "disconnect" sequences to empty strings.
