  17. The makefile assumes that you have the GNUish MS-DOS gnulib.  You can
  18. get it from the same place where you got this file.
  19.  
  20. Patch will report a few matches with fuzz, if you apply `patches' to the
  21. original sources.  This is caused by ignoreing whitespace in the diffs
  22. and is harmless.  (But it saves 50% space in `patches').

  24. The port of obstack.c and obstack.h is still experimental.  I think that
  25. I have made it digestable by Microsoft C 5.1 & 6.0.  But I do not claim
  26. that the solution is very beautiful.

  28. Since the obstacks can be very useful, I will put them into the next
  29. gnulib release.  If you have comments, suggestions, etc., please send
  30. them.  I'm particularly interested in code to support other MS-DOS
  31. compilers.
