  9. This CDROM contains thousands of MSDOS Shareware programs such as:
  10. programming utilities, general utilities, BBS editors, music, animation
  11. software, graphics software, communication software, database software,
  12. and much more.  There is so much software on this disc, you'll spend
  13. hours browsing through hundreds of useful programs.

  33. Quick Start Instructions:
  34.  
  35.   MSDOS Quick Start:
  36.     Change to your CDROM drive and type "view".
  37.     Example:
  38.           C:\> D:
  39.           D:\> view
  40.  
  41.   Windows 3.1/NT:
  42.     Go to "File" menu under program manager and choose Run.  At the
  43.     Command Line box, type: "D:\setup", assuming 'D' is your cdrom drive.
  44.     This will install a group folder with icons for this cdrom.
  45.  
  46.   Windows 95:
  47.     Insert the cdrom into the cdrom drive.  This will automatically
  48.     start a CDROM browser program called WinView.
  49.     Alternatively, you can also install the program group and icon
  50.     by selecting the "Start" menu and choosing "Run".  At the Run
  51.     box, type: "D:\setup", assuming 'D' is your cdrom drive.

  53. Using the 00_INDEX.HTM:
  54.  
  55. We have included 00_index.htm files so the user may use a Web browser
  56. to view our disc.
  57.  
  58. In order to view this disc using these 00_index.htm files, point your
  59. Web browser to the root level 00_index.htm file.

  61. For example, in Netscape:

  63.   1. Click on "File"
  64.   2. Click on "Open File"
  65.   3. Choose your CDROM drive
  66.   4. Select the 00_index.htm file
  67.  
  68. In Internet Explorer:

  70.   1. Click on "File"
  71.   2. Click on "Open"
  72.   3. Click on "Browse"
  73.   4. Choose your CDROM drive
  74.   5. Select the 00_index.htm file

  76. The 00_index.htm files have been tested under Netscape 3.0 (Windows,
  77. Macintosh, and FreeBSD), and Internet Explorer 3.0 (Windows).

  81. WinView and View
  82.  
  83. To make browsing the disc easier, we have included the program WinView
  84. for Windows, and the program VIEW for MSDOS on the CDROM.  These programs
  85. allow you to page through index files, browse through directories on the
  86. CD, view documentation and uncompress/install the program(s) you want
  87. onto your hard disk.

  93. This disk contains many shareware programs and images. Shareware can
  94. be considered to be a sort of try before you buy system where you are
  95. expected to pay the program author a registration fee if you find the
