  9. 1: Run MEMMAKER
  10. 2: Ensure that MSCDEX is loaded before SMARTDRV and that the MSCDX command line has the parameter /M:16
  11. 3: Ensure SMARTDRV has the parameter 512 set
  12. 4: Ensure CD-ROM caching is ON
  13. 5: Running defrag on your hard disk may help performance

  18. 1: Allocate approximately 20 Mb permanent swap file 
  19. 2: 32-bit disc access on
  20. 3: 32-bit file access off
