  1. TimeSheet Filler    v1.31

  4. Fed up with the weekly (annual?) ritual of filling in time sheets, trying
  5. to work out what you did the past week and get it to add up to the
  6. right total?
  7.  
  8. TimeSheet Filler helps to automate that process, automatically remembering 
  9. your name, department, employee code, and your regular codes and 
  10. descriptions. It will also automatically work out the period of the last
  11. sheet, and set the start and end dates for the next time sheet.
  12.  
  13. Most of the controls are standard Windows, and obvious in their use. A
  14. couple of less obvious tricks are:-
  15.  
  16.     Double-click on the total hours box to adjust the hours for each code
  17.     up or down to reach the target hours specified in the setup window.
  18.  
  19.     Double-click on the start date to move back one period (default 7 days)
  20.  
  21.     Double-click on the end date to move forward one period (default 7 days)
  22.  
  23. The setup box can also be used to delete unwanted codes, and to switch on
  24. automatic code capitalization. The INI file which keeps all the values is,
  25. by default, stored in the the directory TimeFill is launched from; to specify
  26. a non-standard lcoation, for example if sharing TimeFill on a network, put
  27. the directory path as a command line parameter in the Command Line box
  28. of the Program Item Properties dialog box.

  34. You'll be acquainted with the concept of shareware, where if you like a 
  35. product it's hoped your conscience will prick you into paying for it 
  36. ( usually with the help of suitable reminder screens). TimeSheet Filler 
  37. works a little differently - if you like it sufficiently to wish to pay 
  38. something for it, then send a donation to help not just your own conscience, 
  39. but a prisoner of conscience too, by helping the work of Amnesty 
  40. International. There are no beg screens: it is hoped that the knowledge of 
  41. people suffering tortue, solitary confinement or execution for the simple 
  42. exercise of their human rights, should be enough incentive.

  49.         button (Win 95) or close option on control menu (Win 3.x) is
  50.         used instead of the Exit button to close down TimeFill.

  71. TimeFill relies on three other files being present on the search path:-

  73. VBRUN300.DLL
  74. GRID.VBX
  75. CMDIALOG.VBX

  77. The versions supplied in the ZIP file are the latest available from
  78. MicroSoft at the time the EXE file was produced. If there are older
  79. versions of these files on your path, these may interfere with TimeFill
  80. and should be removed in favour of the current releases.

  89.         Emptor:  an external mail preprocessing gateway which has many
  90.         rules for filtering and monitoring mail, plus support for sending
  91.         attachments thru the CompuServe mailhub, and for encoding mail
  92.         before transmission

  94.         ccQWK:   an import gateway for QWK packet mail into cc:Mail. Provides
  95.         an inexpensive means of accessing UseNet news, plus gives access to
  96.         dozens of BBS e-mail networks. Incoming mail may be colourized,
  97.         filtered, and RFC headers minimized.

  99.         Tristero: a full ListServ / majordomo style mailing list manager
  100.         for cc:mail. May act as a list server in it's own right, or as a
  101.         client offering cc:mail bulletin boards to cc:mobile and internet
  102.         subscribers, or as a client to remote internet lists. Sophisticated
  103.         access and security control, mail filtering, archiving, file
  104.         uplodaing, downloading and searching and mail digests.
