TiC's WAD Review
---------------------------------------------------------------------
In irregular intervals I will review a few PWADs.
All reviews are totally subjective, I'll not beautify anything!
If you have any suggestions, ideas or whatever; e-mail me at:
denis@doomsday.shnet.org or denis.moeller@kiel.netsurf.de
All files can be found on ftp.cdrom.com and its mirror sites.
DON'T ASK ME TO SEND YOU ANY FILES NOR WHERE TO GET THEM.
If you want me to review a special PWAD - email me.
I will NOT review any deathmatch-levels!
You can also read my reviews at this WebPage:

Title: Nine Hells Game: Doom 2
Filename: 9HELLZ.ZIP Size: 70k
Author: Unknown e-mail: /
Maps: MAP01 Type: normal/deathmatch level
Sounds: no
Graphics: no
Music: no
[ Level construction ] ----------------------------------------------
Nine big rooms connected with teleporters and lots of hallways.
This level is meant to be a single, multiplayer and deathmatchlevel.
Lots of the hallways are looking quite the same, kinda stupid,
because you never know where you are. Teleporters have different
destinations - I hate that (you know, jump from 4 different sides in
the teleporter). I think every bigger room contains a switch, which
opens a door to the end. So you have to push all switches to reach
the end. That's the main idea of the level, I think.
No special light usage.
[ Texture design ] --------------------------------------------------
A few textures are looking misplaced. The author has a kinda
strange taste placing gray ceiling parts in a brown room. Therefore
the level looks a bit uncompleted.
[ Bugs ] ------------------------------------------------------------
No Tuttie-Frutti, Medusa or HOM effects.
[ Enemies ] ---------------------------------------------------------
Played in UV only. Not very hard, except one room with all kind of
monsters in it. You will get all better weapons, like the Rocket
Launcher or the Plasma Gun, so it is no problem to kill everybody.
[ Things ] ----------------------------------------------------------
Enough ammo and health, you will never be stuck on both of it.
[ Scoring ] ---------------------------------------------------------
60%
Worth downloading. Sometimes a bit boring, because of the number
of hallways you have to pass, but not the worst level. A bit to big
for deathmatch, unless you like fraggin' every 30 minutes. ;)
