Update Information for SLC/SLC Pro
2.6 * New Install program.
* Displays registration/license info at exit.
* Scroll bug fix. (No more skipping that 1st bottom file).
* Command line parameter S added - causes SLC to sort upon execution.
* Official Price Increase
2.5 * Screen Redraws optimized.
* Installation Program
* EXE's MUCH MUCH Smaller.
2.4 * Not Released.
2.3 * Now exports to files that are SL #160 compliant.
2.2 * "Slide Show" feature added.
* "SLC" examples included in archive for viewing.
2.1 * "Kill" redisplay bug fix.
2.0 * Official release of features from v1.5 to v1.9
1.9 * Faster directory read routine. REAL FAST! [NR]
1.8 * Now can read 680 ansi screens into the scroller.
1.7 * Ansi Editor Shell now supports almost any ansi editor. [NR]
1.6 * Path to SLC Key & Subprograms now read from environment list. [NR]
Now there is no need to place your SLC.KEY file in every ansi
directory that you use.
1.5 * SLC Functions broken into subprograms for less overhead. [NR]
1.47 * Release version of (1.45).
1.45 * Shell to TheDraw Added. [Non-Release Version].
1.4 * "SORTING" popup box during sort.
* Scroll Up bug fix. (Sometimes would show garbage).
* Now it's a true EXE (required for future SHELL routines.)
* Kill file bug fix.
* Key File Support added for Registered Users.
* Now it will load 660 filenames. (Takes longer, because I use
a drop to DOS "dir", instead of my clunkier, crappy dir reader).
* Unreported sort bug fix.
1.3 * New Interface
* Now converts ANSI screens to SL color coded files.
1.2 * \gr\iv\rd bug fix (from gr\iv\rd).
1.1 * Conversion optimizations
(A test image converted in 3.00 seconds with v1.0
and in 1.69 seconds with v1.1, on a 486/25.
* Lines in export file now displayed after conversions.
(This is an important note if the converted file is
more than 400 lines, since Searchlight's *message editor*
does not support more than 400 lines.)
* The extension 'bin' can now be accepted at the command line.
This is optional of course. You can continue to specify the
file without the 'bin' extension, and SLC will default to that.
1.0 * Initial Release
[NR]=Non Released Version
