  1. LESS version 291 is a file viewer/pager that
  2. is "better than MORE". LESS can be used as a
  3. filter, or with one or more input files. It
  4. can scroll both forwards and backwards, and
  5. can search for patterns within a file. Its
  6. advantage over LIST is that it is portable to
  7. other operating systems. This archive has the
