FT LAUDERDALE to WEST PALM BEACH v1.0
FS5 scenery by
Dick H. Bergman
Created with BGLGEN.EXE
This scenery file is compatible with FS5.0a
This scenery file is compatible with Microsoft Caribbean scenery.
This is my first attempt to create scenery for FS5. I tried to use
BGLCOMP but found that the airports would only appear when approached
from certain directions. If someone has a cure for this I would greatly
appreciate hearing about it, as BGLGEN has no provision for drawing
unique shapes/structures/runways. I would like to express my thanks to
the creator of BGLGEN as well as to the scenery designers that have
preceeded me, as I have learned much from studying their work.
Files included:
FTLAUD.txt (Original BGLGEN file)
FTLAUD.bgl (Scenery file - copy into your c:\fltsim5\scenery directory)
FLL.txt (this file)
This scenery file contains coastal scenery from Hollywood Fl to
West Palm Beach Fl. It consists of BGLGEN style scenery with some
high-rise buildings. Seven airports are included. The airports are
compatible with ISS-EAST navaids. No navaids are included.
If you have ISS-EAST, you must modify the REMOVE.LST file to delete
the airports and scenery included in this area in ISS-EAST. To do this,
you have to add the following airports to the remove list: HWO, FLL,
FXE, PMP, BCT, LNA, PBI.
Add the following to REMOVE.LST:
[SE3-ISS/FLORIDA]
aHWO
aFLL
aFXE
aPMP
aBCT
aLNA
aPBI
Then run INST-ISS using SE3.ISS and replace the existing .bgl files
with the newly created files.
