  5. * Added a feature to check the configuration file for the maximum number of
  6.   days to leave a bid up without any new additional bids on it.  If the bid
  7.   has been posted for this number of days, the current bidder will be 
  8.   announced as the winner.  The Sysop must then reset the door if he/she
  9.   wants to run another auction and reward the prize to the caller.

  11. * Added registration coding to encourage support.
  12.  
  13. * Added function to inform RIP callers that this door does not use RIP.
  14.   (Callers may experience strange displays but can still use the door).
  15.  
  16. * Added function to automatically turn off paging from other nodes while 
  17.   the caller is using Auction Online.  The paging status is turned back on 
  18.   after the caller exits the door.
  19.  
  20. * Monitors carrier detection.
  21.  
  22. * Added support for the Sysop to configure whether to use the NETMAIL or
  23.   SUBSCRIPTION balance to check against for credits when trying to post a
  24.   bid.

  26. * Changed program so that if caller does not have enough credits to bid it
  27.   displays a message to them instead of abruptly ending the program and
  28.   returning to the BBS.

  30. * Added a choice to obtain some information on the item up for bids.

  32. * Corrected a problem with the message a caller leaves.  If the caller
  33.   decided to NOT leave a message the program would default to the last
  34.   message entered.  Now it prints a generic message if the caller does not
  35.   wish to leave one.

  37. * This program will now return the caller back to the initial screen so 
  38.   they can view their name and bid instead of just rudely exiting.

  40. * When a winner is declared the program will automatically create a file
  41.   called WINNER.TXT and you can have this file sent to you through your
  42.   Wildcat! message base.  (Check third party software for programs that 
  43.   will perform this function.  It is not internally to Auction Online...yet!)

  45. * An introduction screen displaying the name, version and author of the
  46.   software plus the Sysop and name of the BBS running this program has been
  47.   added to the beginning of the program.

  49. * Added hotkeys to the menu prompts.  You no longer have to press ENTER after
  50.   each choice when selecting an option.

  52. * Auction Online will now print the number of days that a bid may remain
  53.   online before a winner is chosen.  This keeps your callers informed of how
  54.   long they have to bid.
