Description of Installation Process:
You need to create a permanent directory to extract Text Manager's ZIPped files into. Once the files are copied into the created directory add its icon to an existing Program Manager group (or create a new group for it). No other files need to go into any other directory except its own.

Text Manager lets you view, edit and print text (.txt), .INI and batch (.bat) files.
It has a Configurable Toolbar across the top of the screen with buttons for New, Open, Save, Delete, Close, Windows System Files (opens your SYSTEM.INI and WIN.INI files), Cut, Copy, Paste, Undo, Find, Repeat Last Find Command, Replace Cascade, Tile Horizontally/Vertically, Print, Print Preview, Set Headers/Footers and Margins, and Help. Text Manager also has a Status Bar at the bottom of the screen which gives you information for all of Text Managers functions.
It allows you to set tabs (not just the tab width) and to change fonts. It also comes with a Date/Time stamp feature for mouse-click insertion of the date, the time or both.
Text Manager has an excellent Print Preview with options for showing either one or facing pages on the screen. You can also configure headers and footers to appear on your printouts.

Text Manager comes with readme and Windows Help files. The program is so easy to use that you probably won't even need to use the help features (other than to print out the order form to register it).
Summary

To say that Text Manager version 2.2 is a replacement for Windows Notepad does not do this program justice. This is without doubt one of the best Window text editors I have seen. This is how all programs should be written. Simple to use, attractive looking and powerful. This is more like a mini-word processor. It is able to read in almost any text based file for you to view and/or edit (.txt, .ini, .bat, .log, .diz, .wri, .doc, etc). This is a definite must for anyone who touches a computer. And with a registration fee of $11.95 there is no way you can go wrong. Text Manager is a definite jewel - you'll never use Notepad again.

There were no conflicts, General Protection Faults (GPF's), or program errors encountered in my evaluation of this software.
Suggestions for improvements:
Increase the size of the files that Text Manager can load. At present the limit is approx. 75,000 bytes (which is still better than NotePad).
