  41. The Expand Library is a disk only product. There is no written documentation 
  42. or such. Registering entitles to use of the Expand Library, support and 
  43. updates, as well as receiving the latest version, complete with some extra 
  44. tools. Documentation is supplied in Norton Guide format, complete with 
  45. routines within the Expand Library to print that documentation. No written 
  46. documentation is provided, keeping it in electronic form makes it more 
  47. up-to-date, easy to distribute and maintain.. and.. even easy to use!

  111. The order form can be faxed to the the number given on the first page. Note
  112. that it is required to supply a signature, so, follow the order with
  113. "normal" Mail if you fax the form using a FaxModem, or when sending the
  114. Order Electronically via Compuserve. Without your signature, an order
  115. cannot be processed, sorry for the inconvenience.

  117. All prices are in Dutch Guilders (NLG), whose symbol is ƒ. For other
  118. currencies current rates of exchange will be applied. But do indicate the
  119. amount in Dutch Guilders. November 93 rates for ƒ 1,-- are ±$ 0.55 US; ±
  120. 0.89 DM; ± £0.36; ± 3.12 FF; ± 19 BF etc..

  123.         provided in order for us to be able to handle the order properly.

  125. (1)     Everyone who has purchased an earlier version of the Expand Library
  126.         is entitled to this Upgrade. You will be Upgraded to the 4.00 version,
  127.         including PRG or ALL sources if they were purchased at the time,
  128.         there is no need to Purchase them again! If you had purchased a
  129.         Standard or Enhanced version, and you want also the PRG or ALL
  130.         sources, fill out the relating fields in the Order form. Fill in 0 or
  131.         1 time.

  133. (2)     This includes the latest available version of the Library, Documenta-
  134.         tion in a Norton Guide, Demo program sources and some goodies such
  135.         as: Font Editor, NG utilities, sample sources etc.. Range here is 0
  136.         or 1 too.

  138. (3)     It is now possible to purchase additionnal licenses for use of the
  139.         Library. Note that extra licenses require at least one copy of the
  140.         "normal" Library. Note also that, for instance 7 users of the Library
  141.         would require you to purchase one "normal" copy of the Expand Library,
  142.         and 6 additionnal licenses, meaning 1 time ƒ 149,-- and 6 times 
  143.         ƒ 30,--. Additionally, you need only to purchase sources and
  144.         upgrade service only once.

  146.         Addtionnal licenses entitles the buyer to use the Expand Library the
  147.         amount of licenses times simultaneously, a Site License places no
  148.         restriction on the simultaneous use, but instead requires that the
  149.         Expand Library be used only on the designated site.

  151. (4)     This includes all the CA-Clipper Sources that are incorporated into
  152.         the Expand Library. Might be handy for customising. This resumes to
  153.         ±40 .PRG source files, which are the CA-Clipper sources that are
  154.         included in EXPAND.LIB. Of course, all .PRG sources of the Demo
  155.         program are already included in the Library!

  157.     NOTE: You can only purchase this item in combination with the
  158.         Expand Library itself, item (1) or (2).

  160. (5)     This includes all the Sources making up the Library (ASM and CA-
  161.         Clipper sources). Also includes files in order to build the Library.
  162.         The options (4) and (5) are mutually exclusive, as (5) contains
  163.         everything from (4) also!. This resumes to ±90 .ASM sources and ±40
  164.         .PRG sources making up EXPAND.LIB.

  166.       NOTE: You can only purchase this item in combination with the
  167.     Expand Library itself, item (1) or (2). This means that you can
  168.     NOT choose this item without choosing item (1) or (2)!

  170.         Note: Purchasing the Sources entitles the User to use the sources on
  171.         one machine simultaneously  (for modifications or whatever). The resul-
  172.         ting .OBJs or .LIBs may be used on the machines that are implied by
  173.         the License(s) (see item (3)).

  175. (6)     Using this services you will be mailed any 4.0x interim releases,
  176.         which are patches that fix anomalies, or a change required due to,
  177.         for instance, a new release of CA-Clipper 5.2x. The patches will be
  178.         freely available and downloadable, this is just a service, for your
  179.         convenience in order to receive the Update as soon as possible.

  181. (7)     You may simply want to order the Evaluation version of the Library, 
  182.         in order to be able to judge the possibilties of the product before 
  183.         purchasing. The Evaluation version in itself is freely available,
  184.         the charge is for material and administration costs. The Evaluation 
  185.         version can also be downloaded from Compuserve (GO CLIPPER, Lib 7) 
  186.         or most Clipper BBSses under the name XP400.ZIP.

  188.         Note that the Downloadable Evaluation Version (XP400.ZIP) will
  189.         contain slightly less extra files, as not to increase too much the 
  190.         File to Download. When you receive the Evaluation Version on disk, 
  191.         it'll be exactly the contents of the "normal" version, with 
  192.         exception of the EXPAND.LIB file, which will be the Evaluaation 
  193.         version.

  195. (8)    A hardcopy of the Expand 4.00 Documentation is available on request.
  196.     Its contents are equivalent to the Expand Library Norton Guide
  197.     (which is always included in any way). The relative high cost of this
  198.     item lies in the fact that it is close to 600 pages! Hence the high
  199.     cost of production and shipping.
  200.  
  201. (9)     The 12 Countries of the European Union except the Netherlands. 
  202.         Meaning: Belgium; Luxemburg; France; Spain; Portugal; Italy; 
  203.         Greece; Germany; Denmark; United Kingdom and Ireland.
  204.  
  205.     After January 1st 1995, we'll most probably be welcoming 
  206.     Sweden, Finland, Norway and Austria. So this may apply to these
  207.     countries too after that date.
  208.  
  209.     Anyhow, EU regulations seem to change over time, and hopefully
  210.     from 1995 on, this paperwork will not be needed anymore. When
  211.     in doubt, contact us to see if these VAT regulations still apply.

  213. (10)    Payment by invoice is possible, but in some cases I may request 
  214.         payment in advance, due to some unpleasant suprises in the past.
