  5.         Welcome to FileDude 5.3!
  6.  
  7.         FileDude is simply the finest Renegade file manager available
  8.         today.  It is efficient, reliable, and user-friendly.  Once you
  9.         try FileDude, you'll wonder how you ever managed your files
  10.         without it.

  12.         Version 5.3 has been seven months in the making.  This release
  13.         has two purposes: fix the bugs in version 5.2--most notably the
  14.         inability to create file areas using Create CD-ROM Areas--and
  15.         support RG 04-05-96 and its ten-line file descriptions.

  17.         FileDude/2 for OS/2 still does not have mouse support.
  18.

  21.         This version of FileDude was given a rigorous beta test.  We ran
  22.         FileDude through the wringer, looked at it, and ran it through
  23.         again.  The result is an RG utility you can actually use on a
  24.         daily basis.

  26.         Installation of FileDude is very easy.  Simply run FILEDUDE
  27.         without any parameters.  It will move the template files to a
  28.         newly created TEMPLATE directory, and it will then present you
  29.         with the basic setup screen.
