This is a legal agreement between you (the end user, being either an individual, or legal entity such as a corporation), and Riada. BY CLICKING THE "Accept" BUTTON, YOU ARE AGREEING TO BE BOUND BY THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT, IMMEDIATELY REMOVE ALL TRACES OF THE RIADA SOFTWARE PRODUCT FROM YOUR COMPUTER SYSTEM.
1. GRANT OF LICENSE
(a) EVALUTATION PERIOD - Under this Riada License Agreement ("License"), Riada grants you an evaluation period of 30 days to assess the suitability of the Riada software product ("SOFTWARE"). At or before the end of this evaluation period, you may register the SOFTWARE. If you do not register the SOFTWARE by the end of the evaluation period, you MUST remove all traces of the SOFTWARE from your computer system.
(b) REGISTRATION - Under this License you are permitted to use each copy of the SOFTWARE acquired with this License, provided you have registered each copy with Riada. One copy of the SOFTWARE is deemed to be in use if any part of the SOFTWARE is executing on a single computer. You must take steps to ensure that each executing non-evalution period copy of the SOFTWARE, is registered seperately.
2. COPYRIGHT - The SOFTWARE is owned by Riada, and is protected by Australian copyright laws, international treaty provisions and all other applicable national laws. Therefore you must treat the SOFTWARE as any other copyrighted material, with the exception that you may distribute copies of the SOFTWARE, as shareware, for use as evaluation copies, but not as registered copies. Under no circumstances, must registration information be given, or copied to another individual or legal entity, especially, but not exclusively, in an attempt to defeat section 1(b).
You may not modify, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or create derivative works based on the SOFTWARE.
3. LIABILITY - This SOFTWARE is provided to the user "AS IS", and to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Riada be liable for any damages whatsoever (including without limitation, damages for loss of business profits, business interruptions, loss of business information, or any other monetary loss/penalties) arising out of the use or inability to use the SOFTWARE, even if Riada has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Due to possible local legal variations, the above limitation may not apply to you.
4. DISTRIBUTION - You are granted the right to make an unlimited number of copies of the shareware version of the SOFTWARE, provided it does not contravene any other sections of the License, particularly, section 1(b) and section 2. You may not (without prior written consent from Riada), distribute the SOFTWARE for monetary or other gain, without acknowledging that the SOFTWARE is a shareware product and/or a fee is due by the user upon continued use of the SOFTWARE, to the copyright holder of the SOFTWARE (Riada).
