  1.     Thank you for downloading MLDETH.WAD!! 
  2. If you have never used an external wad before, all you have to do to play
  3. MLDETH.wad is copy it into your Doom2 directory and type :
  4.                 doom2 -file mldeth.wad
  5. **NOTE that if you try this wad out in single player mode, and you do not 
  6. have a copy of Doom 2 v1.666, the game will crash. So for any other version
  7. you must add the parameters: -skill # -warp 1 or enter the game before
  8. it can start the demo. Otherwise the game will crash to DOS.
  9.    I recommend that you make a directory under your doom2 directory and call 
  10. it "pwads" (or whatever you want). If you do this then you can use the batch
  11. file that i have included called mldeth.bat.
  12.    I also have included 2 demos of a deathmatch game between me and my friend 
  13. Paul Cesaitis. I am the Indigo player and Paul is Green. the first demo is  
  14. about 20 minutes long, the second is over 45 minutes. there were some really
  15. cool battles! I thought you could hit F12 to toggle between each player's
  16. view during a demo, but that is only if you use the -playdemo parameter.
  17. so if you would like to do that you must get a copy of NWT, export the demo1
  18. and demo2 entries of my wad to .lmp s. then you must load them along with 
  19. my wad to see them. Any questions, just email me. I know most people already
  20. know this stuff, but when i first got into DOOM and pwads, i had no clue, 
  21. so I try to be helpful. Also visit my ftp site, i'll have all kinds of DOOM
  22. stuff there soon! Please read the mldeth.txt
