  67. your chance!  Inter-Active Arts is currently conducting a contest to select
  68. potential "stars" to appear in our upcoming fantasy-adventure game:

  83. Contest is open to all registrants of any Inter-Active Arts product.  The
  84. first 200 customers to advance register The Eye of Kaborie will AUTOMATICALLY
  85. be selected to appear in the game (be sure to submit contest form and photo).

  87. Twenty-Five additional customers will be selected in a random drawing from
  88. all other registrations/entries received.
  89.  
  90. Contest entries will be accepted through July 31, 1996.  Winners will be
  91. picked from all entries received and notified after August 1, 1996.

  93. All submissions become the property of Inter-Active Arts and will NOT be
  94. returned.  Inter-Active Arts reserves the rights to edit/alter any images
  95. for inclusion in our game(s). In addition, Inter-Active Arts reserves the
  96. right to make any editorial changes to the submitted Character Profile
  97. as deemed necessary by Inter-Active Arts staff.

  99. Guidelines for submitting photos are as follows:
  100.  
  101. o Basically, we're looking for a nice head and shoulder shot with the
  102.   subject's face clearly visible.
  103.  
  104. o Photo should clearly show the subject (i.e., Subject's face at full
  105.   frontal or 3/4 view.)
  106.  
  107. o The background should be relatively simple (i.e., grass, the sky, solid
  108.   white or black background -- basically, nothing distracting)
  109.  
  110. o The subject should be dressed as his/her character (i.e., If your character
  111.   is a monk, wearing a hood would be nice. (An interesting expression is
  112.   a plus!)  Note, however, this is not a requirement.
  113.  
  114. o The subject's name, address (and email address if available) and telephone
  115.   number should be on the back of the photo (use non-smearing, felt-tip pen).
