  1. READ THIS!! IMPORTANT: INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS!!

  3.      1) Decompress the archive INDTB152.ZIP, to a 
  4. temporary directory of your choice. 
  5.  
  6.      2) If you are not already running Windows, start
  7. Windows. Make certain all other Windows programs are
  8. closed, especially screen savers and virus scanners.
  9.  
  10.      3) From your Start Menu, choose Run and type 
  11. c:\temp\setup.exe and click OK. If your temporary 
  12. directory was not c:\temp, substitute accordingly or 
  13. use Browse to locate setup.exe. Alternatively use 
  14. Windows Explorer to locate your temporary directory 
  15. and double click setup.exe.

  17.      4) The installation program should proceed smoothly 
  18. and the few dialogs are user friendly and self explanatory. 
  19. A folder will be created with icons for the Windows E-Book
  20. and various text files. BE CERTAIN TO READ THE TEXT WHICH 
  21. APPEARS AT THE BEGINNING OF THE INSTALLATION. DO NOT SKIP 
  22. THIS: IT CONTAINS IMPORTANT, CLARIFYING INFORMATION ABOUT 
  23. THE INSTALLATION PROCESS.

  25.     5) The registered version of THE GREAT GODDESS IN 
  26. INDIA AND TIBET installs into a separate directory from the 
  27. shareware version unless you deliberately alter the default 
  28. destination directory to do otherwise. You may safely delete 
  29. the shareware version BEFORE YOU INSTALL THE REGISTERED 
  30. VERSION in all situations. IF YOU INSTALLED THE REGISTERED 
  31. VERSION INTO THE SHAREWARE DIRECTORY, DO NOT THEN DELETE 
  32. THE SHAREWARE VERSION. If you do so, the registered version 
  33. will be disabled and you must then delete the registered 
  34. version and begin again with a clean installation.
  35.  
  36.         6) THE GREAT GODDESS IN INDIA AND TIBET V1.52 
  37. conforms to the Windows 95 Logo Requirements for Uninstall 
  38. capability. You may uninstall THE GREAT GODDESS IN INDIA AND 
  39. TIBET by using the Add/Remove Applet in the Control Panel. 
  40. See the Uninstall icon in your program folder for step by 
  41. step instructions.
