  13. HDSleep gibt Ihnen die Kontrolle ⁿber das Power-Management Ihrer
  14. IDE- und Enhanced-IDE-Festplattenlaufwerke, und zwar selbst dann wenn
  15. das BIOS Ihres Computers keine Power-Management-Funktionen
  16. unterstⁿtzt.
  17. Sie k÷nnen sehr flexibel Wartezeiten fⁿr einzelne oder alle Laufwerke
  18. einstellen und mit einem Mausklick das Power-Management ein- oder
  19. ausschalten.
  20. HDSleep arbeitet nur mit IDE- bzw. Enhanced-IDE-kompatiblen
  21. Festplattenlaufwerken zusammen. Verwenden Sie HDSleep nicht fⁿr
  22. SCSI-Laufwerke.

  33. INSTALLATION

  35. Diese Software wird in Form eines selbstentpackenden Archives
  36. geliefert Der ⁿbliche Dateiname ist HDSLEEP@.EXE
  37.  
  38. Um die Software zu installieren, gehen Sie wie folgt vor:
  39.  
  40. - Legen Sie im Explorer einen neuen Ordner als Arbeitsverzeichnis an.
  41. - Kopieren Sie die Archivdatei in diesen Ordner.
  42. - Doppelklicken Sie die Archivdatei, um die darin enthaltenen Dateien
  43.   zu entpacken.
  44. - Doppelklicken Sie auf die neue Datei SETUP.EXE, um sie auszufⁿhren.
  45. - Das Setupprogramm kopiert die ben÷tigten Dateien.
  46. - Um die Installation abzuschlie▀en, wΣhlen Sie aus der angezeigten
  47.   Liste die Programmgruppe aus, in die HDSleep eingefⁿgt werden soll,
  48.   oder geben Sie den Namen einer neuen Programmgruppe ein.
  49.   Es wird empfohlen HDSleep in die Autostart-Gruppe aufzunehmen.

  51. DEINSTALLATION

  53. Um diese Software von Ihrem Computer wieder zu entfernen, gehen
  54. Sie wie folgt vor:

  56. - ╓ffnen Sie den Ordner Systemsteuerung (im Startmenⁿ unter
  57.   Einstellungen).
  58. - Doppelklicken Sie das Symbol Software.
  59. - WΣhlen Sie die Seite Installation/Deinstallation.
  60. - Suchen Sie in der angezeigten Liste den Eintrag "Hard Disk Sleeper"
  61.   und doppelklicken Sie auf diesen Eintrag.
  62. - Das Setupprogramm entfernt alle zugeh÷rigen Dateien aus Ihrem
  63.   System.

  69. With HDSleep you can control the Power Management of your IDE- and
  70. Enhanced-IDE harddisk drives even if your Computer-BIOS does not
  71. support Power Management.
  72. You are able to define suspend times for one or all drives and you
  73. can activate or deactivate the Power Management of your harddisk
  74. drives just with a mouse click.
  75. HDSleep works with IDE- and Enhanced-IDE-compatible drives only.
  76. Do not use HDSleep for SCSI drives.

  87. INSTALLATION

  89. This software is shipped as a self-extracting archive. The usual
  90. file name is HDSLEEP@.EXE
  91.  
  92. To install this software:
  93.  
  94. - Create a new folder as working directory.
  95. - Copy the archive to this folder.
  96. - Double-click the archive to decompress it. This will create several
  97.   new files.
  98. - Double-click the file SETUP.EXE to execute it.
  99. - Setup will copy necessary files.
  100. - To complete the installation, select a program group from the list
  101.   displayed by the Setup program. Alternatively, you can enter a new
  102.   group name.
  103.   It is recommended to insert HDSleep into your Startup folder.

  105. DEINSTALLATION

  107. To remove this software from your computer:

  109. - Open the Control Panel (on the Start menu choose Settings, Control
  110.   Panel).
  111. - Double-click the icon "Add/Remove programs".
  112. - Search in the list for the item "Hard Disk Sleeper" and
  113.   double-click it.
  114. - Setup will remove all accompanying files.
