  10. The Cessna 310 was produced from 1954 until 1981. It was originally designed
  11. to serve in the Air Force as a VIP transport and utility aircraft. As it 
  12. evolved over it's 21 year production span, it's capabilities and performance 
  13. increased dramatically. This re-creation took over 60 hours of design time
  14. and 15 hours of flight time to produce.

  20. When flying this aircraft, remember that there is 50 gallons of fuel hanging
  21. on each wingtip. Consequently, the roll rates are slower than you might expect
  22. in a small aircraft. However, this also makes it a very stable IFR platform.
  23. The following reference speeds will help you fly this aircraft safely.

  27. max cruise speed .............. 183 kts
  28. max speed, 15 deg. flap ....... 156 kts
  29. rough air maneuvering speed ... 148 kts

  38. Also included in the file FUEL.TXT are performance charts which allow you to
  39. adjust the throttle, prop, and mixture controls to plan for maximum endurance
  40. on long flights. Don't forget to make allowances for fuel used in climb and
  41. decent in your calculations!

  64.       * Occasionally, you can see the interior from outside the plane, even
  65.         though it is designated as internal view only. If you never look out
  66.         rear view, you may not notice this bug. Even if you do, it doesn't
  67.         always appear. One workaround I discovered is that if you chose any
  68.         view direction other than forward before switching to the external
  69.         view, the bug does not occur. I felt that the extra realism generated
  70.         by having this feature was worth the occasional display problem.
