  6. Registration: 
  7. -------------
  8. There are 2 different registration options.
  9. The first is for $29, which gets you the
  10. full version of BalloonSaver with no 
  11. shareware nag screens. You also get our Full
  12. Motion video screen saver CD-ROM with 600MB
  13. of incredible video clips. You also get our 
  14. Screen Saver Super Bundle which features 11
  15. additional animated screen savers, including
  16. the Dinosaur, SkyDiver, Waterfalls, and Tropical 
  17. Fish modules.
  18. The second option is the MEGA-CD for $39. The
  19. MEGA-CD includes all the above, plus 375 color
  20. pictures on CD, 4 additional screen savers, 10 
  21. more great utilities (including Video Launch
  22. Pad, SlideShow Pro, AlarmMaster, and DialerPro)
  23. and 6 challenging games (incl. Vegas Poker and
  24. Blackjack and Hang-Em).

  27. photos. An incredible value.

  43. Installation:
  44. ---------------
  45. To install BalloonSaver, unzip the 
  46. BALLSAVE.ZIP file you downloaded.
  47. Then run the SETUP.EXE program. 
  48. Follow the on-screen prompts.
  49. This will load the program onto
  50. your system. To keep this file small
  51. for easy downloading, VBRUNB300.DLL
  52. is not included in this ZIP. This 
  53. program REQUIRES the file VBRUN300.DLL 
  54. to be in your \Windows\System
  55. directory. You can download this
  56. file from Compuserve, AOL, and our
  57. web site: www.galttech.com

  60. Description:
  61. ------------
  62. BalloonSaver is the animated hot-air
  63. balloon screen saver. Colorful balloons
  64. rise into the air and sail across the
  65. screen.

  67. Configuring Screen Saver:
  68. ==========================
  69. (Windows 3.1)
  70. To use the screen saver, double-click 
  71. CONTROL PANEL, usually in the MAIN group 
  72. on your desktop. When CONTROL PANEL opens, 
  73. double-click on DESKTOP to go into the 
  74. desktop configuration screen. About halfway 
  75. down the window, select the Screen Saver Name 
  76. drop-down box. You should find BalloonSaver in the 
  77. list. Select it. Now click on the SETUP button. 
  78. In the screen saver setup, you can adjust the
  79. settings to your preferences. Click REGISTRATION
  80. INFO button to find out about registering this
  81. shareware version of BalloonSaver. 
  82. Click EXIT and try the TEST button.

  84. Right-click the desktop to bring up the 
  85. display panel, or click the START button and
  86. choose Settings/Control Panel; from there you 
  87. can choose DISPLAY. With the Display Panel open,
  88. click on the Screen Saver Tab. Select BalloonSaver 
  89. from the drop down list of screen savers, and click
  90. Settings to setup, and Preview to test it.

  93. Removing BalloonSaver:
  94. ===================
  95. To remove BalloonSaver from your system,
  96. delete the file BALLOONS.SCR from your
  97. \Windows directory.

  101. BY USING THIS SOFTWARE, YOU AGREE TO THE

  104. This version of BalloonSaver is shareware. 
  105. You are granted a license to use BalloonSaver
  106. for a period of up to 30 days. After
  107. that time, you are required to purchase the
  108. product(s) through registration or else 
  109. discontinue its use.

  111. You are allowed to make copies of this 
  112. software and distribute it to your friends 
  113. and co-workers, on electronic bulletin
  114. boards, over networks, and so on, as long 
  115. as the product is not distributed for
  116. profit (handling fees up to $5.00 ok). 
  117. If you distribute this software, you agree 
  118. to distribute this installation executable 
  119. which contains the associated files together 
  120. as a group. You are not allowed to bundle 
  121. this software with other products without 
  122. prior written permission from Galt Technology.

  126. As licensee, you own the media upon which 
  127. the software is recorded or distributed and 
  128. are entitled to use the software, but Galt 
  129. Technology retains title and ownership of 
  130. the original software and all subsequent copies.

  132. any copy. You are not allowed to make any 
  133. modifications to, or to create derivative 
  134. works from any of the files that are used 
  135. in this software. This includes all the 
  136. executable, help, installation, and readme 
  137. files, as well as video files.
