  1. Many thanks to Jan Moons for this excellent toolkit.  I was able
  2. to repaint his EBA 737-300 to the colors of New York Air.  A very
  3. colorful airline which was born in deregulation and was eventually
  4. absorbed by Continental Airlines.
  5. The following is Jans B737-300 txt file, which has only been edited
  6. for the inclusion of new files.

  18. BAO's Flight Simulator Flight Shop is required to use this aircraft 
  19. model.  Copy the *.AIR file to your FS5 \PILOTS directory.  Copy 
  20. all the *.?AF files to your \TEXTURE directory.

  22. If you want to edit your own model or paint another carrierflag on the 
  23. fuselage then the AA737-300.AFX, -R8 and -PCX files need to be placed in
  24. a newly made workdirectory in AF5. The two enclosed 1024*256 PCX files are
  25. just a handy utility to draw new textures. For editing, use of 
  26. Paint Shop Pro 3.0 (Shareware) is highly recommended.

  29. DESCRIPTION

  31. This project was intended to be a support for all FlightSim lovers who
  32. want to design their own plane but missed the boost for starting 
  33. the project. In that way I hope to encourage many people to readapt and
  34. repaint the model in other carriers colors.

  36. This 737 represents my first serious attempt to producing a flight model.
  37. In this, I have relied heavily upon the input and advice of CRAIG MOSHER
  38. and LAEMMING WHEELER. By this I WISH TO THANK THEM BOTH!

  40. However this is only version 1.0 and some minor fixes need to be done.
  41. Watch for future input! The dynamic flightmodel is as realistic as could
  42. be and on this very moment I'm in search for a real B737 pilot in order
  43. to adapt the flight characteristics.

  48. EBA (Eurobelgian Airlines) is one of the smaller charteroperators on the 
  49. European sky. They only fly about 10 B737 planes (number may now be altered)
  50. to 40 possible destinations around the continent. Lately they attack the
  51. European market with incredible low fares for regular flights to 5 major 
  52. citys. I'm sure you're going to hear more of them in thee near future.

  54. LIMITATIONS
  55. -----------
  56. This aircraft model is made available for the private use of Microsoft
  57. Flight Simulator enthusiasts. I worked for about 120 hours on this project
  58. producing more then 521 handmade parts (even the fuselage). So do NOT 
  59. spoil my day by catching money with my work! Note: some of the parts 
  60. descriptions are in Dutch. My appologies!

  62. The original, unaltered archive file may be freely distributed and 
  63. uploaded to BBS and FTP sites.  Under no circumstances may this model 
  64. be packaged, bundled or otherwise sold for profit without the author's 
  65. written permission.
