  3. PLEASE READ THE ON-LINE HELP BEFORE PLAYING THIS GAME.  THERE IS MORE TO
  4. IT THAN JUST LANDING.  YOU HAVE TO FLY BACK UP AND DOCK WITH YOUR ORBITER, 
  5. AND YOU CAN NOT FLY THE SHIP IF YOU DO NOT KNOW HOW TO CONTROL IT!

  9. This game requires Windows version 3.1 and can be installed from Windows or by manually copying the 
  10. files to your system.

  12. This game is made up of the following files:
  13.  
  14.     SPEXP1.EXE    SPEXP1.HLP    JMGAMES.DLL
  15.  
  16. This game also requires four Borland DLLs (OWL31.DLL, BC30RTL.DLL, TCLASS31.DLL, and 
  17. BWCC.DLL).  You may already have these DLLs if you have any Borland software or any software 
  18. developed with a Borland product.  If so, you do not need to load these DLLs again.  These Borland DLL's 
  19. will need to be installed in a directory that is in your path, like the Windows\System directory, or in the 
  20. directory to which you create and/or install the game itself.  When you run the game, the directory it 
  21. resides in will be the current working directory and therefore will not need to be on the path.  If this is 
  22. also where you install the Borland DLLs then they will be found there as well when you run the game.  I 
  23. would recommend placing these four Borland DLLs in the Windows\System directory so that if you ever 
  24. get any more software, whether from me or other sources, that requires these DLLs, then they will be in a 
  25. shared place.  You would only want one copy of these on your system for good housekeeping sake.

  27. INSTALLING - FROM WINDOWS
  28.  
  29. To install this game from Windows just run the setup.exe application (which is supplied with this game) 
  30. from the File | Run menu of the Windows Program Manager.  The setup application will create a program
  31. group and icon in your program manager.  It will also allow you to specify the directories you want to 
  32. install the game on and will create the directories if they do not exist.  It will give you the option to install 
  33. the game only or also to install the required Borland DLLs, as described above.

  35. INSTALLING - MANUALLY
  36.  
  37. To install the game manually just copy the game files (SPEXP1.EXE, SPEXP1.HLP, and 
  38. JMGAMES.DLL) to a directory on your computer's hard drive.  Make sure the directory is either in the 
  39. path or set as the working directory in the "Program Item Properties" dialog box of the Program Manager
  40. when you add the icon.  As mentioned above, this game requires four Borland DLLs (OWL31.DLL, 
  41. BC30RTL.DLL, TCLASS31.DLL, and BWCC.DLL).  These DLLs may be placed in the same directory 
  42. as the game or any directory in the path.  Please read the opening paragraphs again regarding these DLLs.
