  11. You can plot deeds, write land descriptions, measure acreage, find errors, find
  12. lost corners and lines, subdivide, and keep professional surveyors honest.
  13. Other uses are laying out building foundations, gaming fields, and landscapes.
  14. You can even hide and recover buried treasure, or map a cave.

  16. This is a simple compass and tape method.  Precision is only about 1%, what you
  17. could draw with a protractor & ruler.  Usually, this is sufficient precision
  18. for my purposes.  It may also be for yours.  Mosttimes, ½fast is plenty fast
  19. enuf.

  21. This disk contains a book on compass and tape surveying (in plain ASCII) and a
  22. BASIC program to handle the data.  There are several examples, with explanatory
  23. comments.  There are also many support files, information on vacation or
  24. retirement land in The Boonies of Kentucky, and some filler to make a 360KB
  25. diskful.
