  1. NAVLOG is a program for mariners that make
  2. blue water passages. It enables easy
  3. calculations and recording of navigation data
  4. Using the inputs of latitude, longitude, and
  5. time, it calculates distance, course, and
  6. average speed between two navigational fixes.
  7. It also records each set of position data,
  8. thereby providing a permanent record of a
  9. passage. I have found this information to be
  10. very useful, but it is often been too much
  11. work to do manually. NAVLOG easily provides.
