  8. Note:     The term "vendor" is used to refer to any person, company or group
  9.           distributing the evaluation version of My Little Realm's Records of
  10.           the Realm program by any means for profit or for any other purpose.
  11.  
  12.           The distribution license agreements are immediately below.  
  13.  
  14.           The required contents of the distribution disk are listed near
  15.           line 47 of this document.  The required contents of the .ZIP file
  16.           are listed near line 61 of this document.

  18.           You'll find my name, address and phone number, along with 
  19.           descriptions of Records of the Realm, at the end of this document.

  21.           The .ZIP file ID is MLRROR25.ZIP.

  23.           The registration price is $20 (USA).  The benefits are listed at
  24.           the end of this document near the descriptions.  Possible product 
  25.           categories would be General Household, Home and Hobby, and Personal

  39. As the exclusive copyright holder for My Little Realm's Records of the Realm 
  40. program, John L. Salisbury (also called the author) authorizes distribution 
  41. only in accordance with the following restrictions:
  42.  
  43.   o  ASP Vendors in good standing are hereby granted permission to distribute 
  44.      the Records of the Realm package.  Non-ASP member vendors must request 
  45.      permission prior to distributing this package.
  46.  
  47.   o  The Records of the Realm package - including all related program files 
  48.      and documentation files - cannot be modified in any way and must be 
  49.      distributed as a complete package, without exception.  
  50.  
  51.      For disk vendors, the distribution disk's required contents are:

  75.   o  No disk vendor may place other authors' works on the Records of the 
  76.      Realm disk.  Small additions to the package, such as the introductory or
  77.      installation batch files used by many shareware disk vendors, are 
  78.      acceptable.

  80.   o  No price or other compensation may be charged by any vendor for the 
  81.      Records of the Realm software package.  Vendors may charge their usual 
  82.      fees for the materials and services they provide.

  85. Disk Sets & CD-ROMs:

  87. The Records of the Realm package cannot be sold as part of some other 
  88. inclusive package.  Nor can it be included in any commercial software 
  89. packaging offer without a written agreement from John L.Salisbury.
  90.  
  91. ASP Approved Vendors who wish to distribute the Records of the Realm package 
  92. as part of a collection (such as PsL's MegaDisk set, or a CD-ROM package) may
  93. do so provided that all the other restrictions are met.
  94.  
  95. Non-ASP Member Vendors who wish to distribute the Records of the Realm 
  96. package as part of a collection (such as PsL's MegaDisk set, or a CD-ROM 
  97. package) must obtain permission from the author prior to beginning such a 
  98. distribution.

  100. Disk-of-the-Month (or Subscription) Distribution:
  101. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  102. If you would like to distribute the Records of the Realm package as a 
  103. Disk-of-the-Month, or as part of a subscription or monthly service, then 
  104. the following restrictions apply:
  105.  
  106.   o  ASP Associate (Disk Vendor) Members in good standing are hereby 
  107.      given permission to distribute the Records of the Realm package 
  108.      under the Disk-of-the-Month style of distribution.
  109.  
  110.   o  Non-ASP Vendors must contact the author in advance to ensure that 
  111.      they have the most current version of the software.
  112.  
  113.   o  Vendors (ASP and non-ASP Members) cannot use a Disk-of-the-Month 
  114.      distribution to use up their inventory of old (out of date) disks.  
  115.      Only current versions of the Records of the Realm package may be 
  116.      shipped as Disk-of-the-Month disks.
  117.  
  118.   o  A printed copy of the online documentation may not be reproduced 
  119.      in whole or in part, using any means, without the written permission 
  120.      of the author.  
  121.  
  122.   o  The Records of the Realm package cannot be rented or leased to others.
  123.  
  124.   o  No vendor may list Records of the Realm in advertisements, catalogs, 
  125.      or other literature which describes Records of the Realm as "FREE 
  126.      SOFTWARE".  
  127.  
  128.   o  The author expressly prohibits the distribution of outdated versions 
  129.      of the Records of the Realm package without written permission.  If 
  130.      the version you have is over twelve (12) months old, please contact 
  131.      the author to ensure that you have the most current version.  
  132.  
  133.   o  Vendors shall not use, copy, rent, lease, sell, modify, decompile,
  134.      disassemble, otherwise reverse engineer, or transfer the licensed 
  135.      program except as provided in this agreement.  Any such unauthorized 
  136.      use shall result in immediate and automatic termination of this 
  137.      license.

  139. All rights not expressly granted here are reserved to the author.
