  1. This driver supports the Panasonic CR-52x family of CDROM drives, the CR-56x
  2. family of CDROM drives, and the Creative Labs SoundBlaster CDROM drive.
  3.  
  4. To install Windows NT from one of these drives:
  5.  
  6. 1--Copy all files from this directory to a blank formatted floppy in drive A:.
  7. 2--Label this disk "PANSONIC SETUP"
  8. 3--Boot the computer with the Boot Floppy included with Windows NT.
  9. 4--Press ENTER to install Windows NT.
  10. 5--Select Custom Setup.  Please read your Windows NT manual on Custom Setup.
  11. 6--After Windows NT scans for SCSI adapters, press "S" to add an adapter.
  12. 7--Select "Other (requires disk provided by hardware manufacturer)".
  13. 8--Insert the disk labeled "PANASONIC SETUP" into drive A: and press ENTER.
  14. 9--Follow the normal Custom Setup installation procedure.

  17. To add support for these drives to an existing Windows NT installation:
  18. 1--Copy all files from this directory to a blank formatted floppy in drive A:.
  19. 2--Label this disk "PANSONIC SETUP"
  20. 3--Run the Windows NT SETUP application.
  21. 4--Select "ADD/REMOVE SCSI adapters" from the "OPTIONS" menu.
  22. 5--Click on the "ADD" button.
  23. 6--Select the option "Other (requires a disk from a hardware manufacturer)".
  24. 7--Insert the "PANASONIC SETUP" disk into drive A: and press ENTER.
  25. 8--Select the driver option provided, and press ENTER.
  26. 9--Select "Install" and then "Continue".
  27. 10-Select "Close", and exit setup.  You will need to restart Windows NT.
