  5. NOTE: Problem using JCSCROLL with EMS when using QEMM using STEALTH.
  6. I suggest not using EMS until I can(if I can) fix it.

  10. Last bug fixed was a problem with EMS and programs that shell to DOS.

  13. ------------
  14. Support for ALT-Key combination activation has been added.  Just pass
  15. a command-line parameter such as JCSCROLL /K={ALT}Y to have ALT-Y be
  16. the hot-key.

  18. Also, I have added full DOS 5.0 type syntax.  For example, JCSCROLL /?
  19. will give you a command summary. And /L is the same as -L.
  20.  
  21. NOTE: Mono mode is supported, but I do not support dynamically switching
  22. from MONO to color modes.  Whatever state your computer was in when
  23. JCScroll was installed is what it uses.  So if you are in a color mode
  24. when you install JCScroll and then switch to a MONO mode JCScroll will
  25. work on the color monitor.

  27. JCScroll is a tsr that will enable the DOS user to scroll up on the screen
  28. in order to view text that has scrolled by.  For example, you issue
  29. a DIR command and get a list that scrolls by too fast for you to see.  Well,
  30. with JCScroll just activate the tsr by hitting the left and right shift
  31. keys, and you will be able to scroll up and see the text that scrolled by.

  33. You may use the arrow keys, PgUp, PgDn, Home and End keys to scroll.

  35. This version of JCScroll supports EMS.  The tsr itself will only take 10k
  36. It also supports all text modes (i.e. 80x25, 40x25, 80x40, 80x50).

  38. You may also activate JCScroll from within any text application. So, for
  39. example if you are in you word processor and you would like to see what was on
  40. the screen before you entered your program, just activate JCScroll and
  41. scroll up.

  43. The number of lines that JCScroll will store is configurable with
  44. a command line option.  JCscroll will work on any IBM compatible.
  45. JCscroll is shareware.  A registration fee of $15 is appreciated.

  57.    /N  Do not use EMS even if it is available
  58.    /K  <key> is one of the following:
  59.           SHIFT - both shift keys (Default)
  60.           {alt}A-Z - Any ALT+key combination

  63.    JCScroll will activate with a 100 line buffer when
  64.    ALT-Y is pressed.  EMS will not be used even
  65.    if it is available.

  70. Each screen of 25 lines takes up 4096 bytes. Max. of 150 lines.
