  1.           PCS IPF Editor Installation & General Information

  3. To install the Perez Computing Systems IPF Editor unzip the contents of 
  4. the IPFEDIT.ZIP file into a temporary directory.  Then use the INSTALL 
  5. command as follows:
  6.  
  7. INSTALL [Target Drive Letter]
  8.  
  9. Where the [Target Drive Letter] is the drive where you wish to
  10. place the installed IPF Editor.  The following example would install
  11. the IPF Editor onto drive E:
  12.  
  13.     INSTALL E
  14.  
  15.  
  16. Please use the OS/2 2.x VIEW program to view README.INF for information on 
  17. using the PCS IPF Editor program once you have completed installation.
  18.  
  19. To remove the IPF Editor from your system delete the IPF Editor folder
  20. from your desktop and delete the IPFEDIT directory.
  21.  
  22. If you are having troubles installing the IPF Editor you may not have
  23. installed the REXX portion of the OS/2 system.  Please be sure REXX is
  24. installed if the INSTALL.CMD does not work correctly.  You may also view 
  25. the README.INF file to see how to install the IPF Editor manually.

  27. The IPF Editor requires OS/2 2.x to run.
