  1.                  Dominoes INTER-BBS INSTRUCTIONS
  2.                       HUB: Sunrise-80 BBS

  4. Instructions/guidelines for using Sunrise-80 as your HUB:
  5.  
  6. (1) Contact Al Lawrence (Sysop), VOICE, to obtain a unique NODE number. Do not
  7.     assign one yourself as duplicate numbers will mean your scores will not be
  8.     recognized.
  9.  
  10. (2) To Upload/Download files while logged on to the BBS:
  11.  
  12.     a. Upload your DOMINOE0.xxx (xxx=your assigned NODE number) to Sunrise-80
  13.        BBS. At the Main Command prompt type: U DOMINOE0.xxx (xxx=your assigned
  14.        NODE number). When asked for a description enter:
  15.  
  16.                 /your BBS name - DOMINOES INTERBBS FILE
  17.  
  18.        You will receive a message from the BBS that the upload was unsuccessful
  19.        or something of that nature. Disregard it since all it means is that it
  20.        did not like the format you uploaded in (ie: it did not have a ZIP
  21.        extension). DO NOT ZIP YOUR FILES under any circumstances!!

  23.     b. During the same call you would Download the latest consolidated DOMINOES
  24.        score file by typing:
  25.  
  26.                           D DOMINOE0.001.
  27.  
  28.        You would then run INTERBBS on your system to import the latest
  29.        consolidated file.

  31. (3) If using a Front-End program to transfer files:
  32.  
  33.     If using FrontDoor, InterMail, Binkley, Dbridge, etc you would send your
  34.     DOMINOE0.xxx (xxx=your assigned NODE number) and during the same session
  35.     File Request (FREQ): DOMINOE0.001 and process it the same way as 2b above.

  37. (4) On the first of the month you must ensure that your last score file, that
  38.     contains the final scores for the prior month, makes it to Sunrise-80 BBS
  39.     no later than 0500 EST. Failure to send by that time will mean that any
  40.     scores accumulated since your last transmission will not be figured into
  41.     the prior month's High Score.
  42.  
  43. (5) You must ensure that your DOMINOES configuration file contains the EXACT
  44.     same information as that of your HUB. Failure to use these values will
  45.     result in your transmitted file being rejected.
