  1. Read a file containing a land description.

  3. DEEDPLT data files are flat ASCII (no relation to Jack Ascii) sequential
  4. files.  They may be edited with any ASCII text editor.
  5.  
  6. DEEDPLT will also read and write the file format used by CAVEMAP1, a program to
  7. survey land yourself.
  8.  
  9. If you do not include an filename extension, then the default extension will be
  10. appended.  The default default extension is .PLT and is changed in <PARAMTRS>.
  11. It is recorded on line 4 in <PARAMTRS.PLT>.
