  3. If you are upgrading from an earlier version of DDIR, please note
  4. that the keys have been substantially changed. The earliest versions
  5. had very few functions - basically the sort routines, and the keys
  6. were mapped mnemonically. However, as more features were added at the
  7. request of users it became more and more difficult to assign keys
  8. reasonably logically. Hence, with this version, I've bitten the
  9. bullet and remapped the keys. If, as a user of an earlier version, you
  10. find this confusing at first, please accept my apologies and take
  11. comfort in the fact that it's just as difficult for me! Thanks for
  12. your understanding, and I hope you find the new configuration to be
  13. logical! Please read DDIR93.DOC for an explanation of the new key
  14. mapping.
