- | 1. 06/25/93 CPI-C API
- | An application that calls the CPI-C API using the new
- | functions (XCSTP, XCINCT, XCENDT, XCETI) must allocate
- | 12-bytes of storage for the CPIC TP ID parameter. This
- | requirement is not documented in the CPI Communications
- | Reference (SC26-4399-06). Failure to allocate the re-
- | quired memory for the CPIC TP ID can cause unexpected
- | errors in the Transaction Program. Programmers familiar
- | with the APPC API will notice that the CPIC TP ID con-
- | tains the APPC TP_ID (8-bytes of storage), but these
- | two parameters cannot be exchanged in a mixed APPC/CPI-C
- | application.
