  40. |        SYS3175 when running HGINST                                            
  41. |     SOLUTION:                                                                 
  42. |        REXX must be installed before running HGINST.                          
  43. |                                                                               
  44. |        REXX can be installed when installing OS/2 2.0                         
  45. |        If OS/2 2.0 is already installed REXX can be                           
  46. |        installed by selecting the OS/2 System Icon.  From                     
  47. |        the OS/2 System Icon select the System Setup Icon.                     
  48. |        From the System Setup Icon select the Selective                        
  49. |        Install Icon.  Select REXX from the install menu                       
  50. |        the comes up and follow the installation                               
  51. |        instructions.

  57. |        OS/2LINK APAR PN15796 must be installed.  This                         
  58. |        APAR will bring the OS/2LINK maintenance up to the                     
  59. |        level which is required for OS/2 2.0

  71. |        SCREEN ERASURES, IKT00405I, INCORRECT SCREEN SIZES, etc

  73. |        Check the VTAM LOGON MODE TABLES, esp. the PSERVIC valu                
  74. |        Reference the Extended Services for OS/2                               
  75. |        Host Connection Reference, S04G100400, under                           
  76. |        "VTAM Logon Mode Tables".

  81. |          There are many problems being reported running                       
  82. |          OS2LINK with OS/2 2.0 which are documented in                        
  83. |          OS2LINK apars PN19326 and PN15796.                                   
  84. |          One problem being SYS3175 while starting CM.

  87. |       SOLUTION:                                                               
  88. |          Contact the OS2LINK support group and obtain the                     
  89. |          latest maintenance addressing the above apars.

  93. |         HANG conditions using Host graphic applications                       
  94. |          in 3270 emulation. (See apar JR06243)

  96. |       SOLUTION:                                                               
  97. |          Apply the latest ES maintenance that includes                        
  98. |          JR06243 (ACS3LAP.DLL).

  109. |  2. Obtain a VTAM BUFFER trace of the LU.

  111. |  Note: The traces requested in 1 and 2 above must be taken                    
  112. |        at the same time for the same occurrence of the problem

  115. |        send problem documentation to the IBM SUPPORT CENTER.
