  1. @X0F             Prompt File Information and Configuration Guidelines

  3. @X0A  Be aware that this is a BETA copy of the reader and that not all of
  4.   internal protocols have been implemented (or external for that matter).
  5.   Currently, only the Zmodem Internal protocol has been implemented.  Before
  6.   the final release, internal Ymodem should be implemented and any external
  7.   protocol that you desire (including HS/Link).  For reliability reasons, we
  8.   suggest that you use Zmodem.

  10. @X0C     Sometimes Sysops will change the default prompts.  If your Sysop has done
  11.      this you will need to Modify the Prompts in the Dail BBS Menu (ALT-P).
  12.      The best way to see what prompts the sysop has available is to manually
  13.      dial in and capture the various prompts.

  18. @X0E     Be sure that you have set your protocol letter to Zmodem (At least
  19.      for the time being) in the Mail Door that you will be using.
  20.  
  21.      Make sure you know the name of the door or the door # that you will
  22.      be using.

  24.      If your Sysop is using PCBoard 15.0 and has enabled Password verification,
  25.      you will need to include 4 different passwords in the Configuration Screen
  26.      in Camster.  This is so that when PCBoard asks Camster for a new Passowrd,
  27.      it will give the next password as defined.  If you aren't sure if your
  28.      Sysop has enabled this, then you can either ask him/her, or just fill out
  29.      the appropriate information to be safe (in case they change their mind).

  36.      Know the location of the TomCat Mail door (@X0FM@X0Eain Menu, @X0FF@X0Eile Menu, or
  37.      m@X0FE@X0Essage Menu).  Also, know the command to access the Door.  It
  38.      varies for Sysops.  Usually, it's a one letter command.

  40.      BE POSITIVE that the below settings are correct:

  42.        [ 3] Phone Number      : Should match Camster
  43.        [ 4] Birth Date        : Should match Camster
  44.        [ 8] Hot Keys          : NO
  45.        [14] Default Protocol  : ZMODEM

  48.      WildCat also provides 3 different methods for logging in.  They are as
  49.      follows:

  51.         UserName   - What happens is you are displayed all of the various
  52.                      screens that the sysop has available upon logging in.
  53.         *UserName  - What happens is you go directly to the Main Menu.
  54.         !UserName  - What happens is you go directly to the TomCat Mail Menu.
  55.                      Be aware that this one is an option that can be configured
  56.                      by your sysop.  If your hasn't given you access to this,
  57.                      you might ask him/her to let you use this for faster
  58.                      access into the mail door.  Usually, this is only
  59.                      available to NetSysops of other BBS's or Subscribers to
  60.                      their BBS.

  62.         You may want to edit the PROMPT file and make sure you have it set
  63.         correctly.  The default is *@UNAME.  However, if your Sysop is using
  64.         an older version of WildCat, it may not be available and using the
  65.         UNAME is the one you should be using.  Ask your Sysop for more details.
