The version of Betrayal at Krondor on this disk is a free promotional copy of the game. No technical support is provided.
THE "WORLD OF KRONDOR" APPLICATION IS DESIGNED TO RUN ON AN 800x600 OR GREATER WINDOWS DESKTOP.
This CD contains the following applications:
1. The "World Of Krondor" promotional application worldofkrondor.exe contains screen shots, movies, and information about the exciting new roleplay game "Return To Krondor". If movies do not run on your system, you need to run "iv5play(1).exe" to install the Indeo5 codec that is necessary for playback.
2. The complete game "Betrayal At Krondor", the award-winning predecessor to "Return To Krondor" is on the CD. To install the game, run "Install.exe" from either Windows Explorer or the MS-DOS prompt. Release notes and installation details can be read by executing "Readme.bat" on the CD. Gameplay documentation is provided in Adobe Acrobat format in the file KrondorM.pdf. "Acroread.exe" is provided on the CD if this you do not already have it on your system. (Many internet documents are in this format, and you may have better results by downloading a more current version from Adobe.)
3. The Sierra Studios 1998 Product Lineup - this information is viewable in your Web browser either from within the "World of Krondor" program or by loading "index.html".
