  1. 1)  Use and Restrictions:  The data provided by Corporate Technology Information Services, Inc. 
  2. (CorpTech) to you:
  3. a) are the copyright property of CorpTech;
  4. b) may only be used by on-site
  5. employees of your company or by external consultants working on your company's behalf;
  6. c) are for a single user at any one time (contracts for multiple users are available);
  7. d) are for the internal use of the licensee and may not be exported or copied into any other
  8. software package for the purpose of creating mailing labels or loading into any other
  9. database or contact manager other than from the CorpTech EXPLORE Database GOLD  product;
  10. e) may not be used as a component of or basis for a directory, mailing list or database
  11. prepared for commercial sale or distribution outside your organization (libraries
  12. may provide print information to their patrons);
  13. f) includes seeded records that are included for the sole purpose of tracking unauthorized usage;
  14. g) the CD-ROM is for use only for a single year, after which time all copies must be
  15. discarded by you unless you have purchased updated data from CorpTech.

  17. 2)  Software Copyright:  The CD-ROM software is the copyright property of both CorpTech and Nimbus 
  18. Information Systems, Inc., and may not be decompiled, reverse engineered, or modified in any way.

  20. 3)  Limited Warranty:  CorpTech products ordered herein (Products) which are damaged or defective in 
  21. materials or workmanship will be replaced if returned to CorpTech within 90 days of the purchase date.  
  22. Except for this limited warranty, the data and software on this CD-ROM are provided "as is" without 
  23. warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of 
  24. merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.  In no event will CorpTech be liable to you for any 
  25. consequential damages arising out of the use of or inability to use the Products.  Some states do not allow 
  26. the exclusion of implied warranties or liability for incidental or consequential damages, so the above 
  27. exclusion may not apply to you.

  29. 4)  Federal Government Use:  Use, duplication or disclosure by the government of data provided by 
  30. CorpTech is subject to restrictions as set forth in subparagraph (c)(1)(ii) of the Rights of Technical Data 
  31. and Computer Software clause at 252.227-7013 
  32.  
  33. 5)  Miscellaneous:  Customers will be responsible for all reasonable and necessary collection costs on 
  34. unpaid invoices, as well as duties and taxes arising from shipments outside the U.S. 
  35.  
  36. 6)  Return Policy:  Products come with a 30-day, money-back satisfaction guarantee and must be returned 
  37. in resaleable condition within 30 days of receipt.  Any CD-ROM returned after 30 days will be charged 
  38. for on a pro-rata basis.
