  6. Registration: 
  7. -------------
  8. There are 2 different registration options.
  9. The first is for $29, which includes the
  10. full version of Venice Saver with no 
  11. shareware notices. You also get our Full
  12. Motion video screen saver CD-ROM with 600MB
  13. of incredible video clips. You also get our 
  14. ScreenPix Bundle which features 5 other
  15. screen savers, including ScreenPix (turn 
  16. your JPG/BMP pictures into a screen saver), 
  17. LogoSaver, SoundPix, WorldSaver, and QuoteSaver.

  19. The second option is the MEGA-CD for $39. The
  20. MEGA-CD includes all the above, plus 375 color
  21. pictures on CD, 11 additional screen savers 
  22. (including Jurassic, Fish, Balloons, Space, and
  23. more), 14 more great utilities (including Video 
  24. Launch Pad, SlideShow Pro, AlarmMaster, and 
  25. DialerPro) and 6 challenging games (incl. Vegas 
  26. Poker and Blackjack and Hang-Em).
  27. You get the entire library of GALT products --
  28. 39 programs in all, plus all the video clips and
  29. photos. These are the full, registered versions.

  47. Installation:
  48. ---------------
  49. To install Venice, unzip the file you 
  50. downloaded. Then run the SETUP.EXE program. 
  51. Follow the on-screen prompts.
  52. This will load the program onto
  53. your system.

  56. Configuring Screen Saver:
  57. ==========================
  58. (Windows 3.1)
  59. To use the screen saver, double-click 
  60. CONTROL PANEL, usually in the MAIN group 
  61. on your desktop. When CONTROL PANEL opens, 
  62. double-click on DESKTOP to go into the 
  63. desktop configuration screen. About halfway 
  64. down the window, select the Screen Saver Name 
  65. drop-down box. You should find Venice in the 
  66. list. Select it. Now click on the SETUP button. 
  67. In the screen saver setup, you can adjust the
  68. settings to your preferences. Click REGISTRATION
  69. INFO button to find out about registering this
  70. shareware version of Venice. 
  71. Click EXIT and try the TEST button.

  74. Right-click the desktop to bring up the 
  75. display panel, or click the START button and
  76. choose Settings/Control Panel; from there you 
  77. can choose DISPLAY. With the Display Panel open,
  78. click on the Screen Saver Tab. Select Venice 
  79. from the drop down list of screen savers, and click
  80. Settings to setup, and Preview to test it.

  83. Removing Venice:
  84. ===================
  85. To remove Venice from your system,
  86. delete the file VENICE.SCR from your
  87. \Windows directory. Also delete VENICE.WAV
  88. from your \WINDOWS\GALTSNDS directory.

  94. BY USING THIS SOFTWARE, YOU AGREE TO THE

  99. for a period of up to 30 days. After
  100. that time, you are required to purchase the
  101. product(s) through registration or else

  106. and co-workers, on electronic bulletin
  107. boards, over networks, and so on, as long 
  108. as the product is not distributed for
  109. profit (handling fees up to $5.00 ok).

  111. to distribute this installation executable 
  112. which contains the associated files together 
  113. as a group. You are not allowed to bundle 
  114. this software with other products without 
  115. prior written permission from Galt Technology.

  120. the software is recorded or distributed and 
  121. are entitled to use the software, but Galt 
  122. Technology retains title and ownership of 
  123. the original software and all subsequent copies.

  125. any copy. You are not allowed to make any 
  126. modifications to, or to create derivative 
  127. works from any of the files that are used 
  128. in this software. This includes all the 
  129. executable, help, installation, and readme 
  130. files, as well as video files.
