  1. A migrane is an acute, sometimes 
  2. incapacitating HEADACHE (generally only 
  3. on one side), accompanied by nausea, that 
  4. recurs, often with advance symptoms such as 
  5. flashing lights. No cure has been discovered, 
  6. but ergotamine normally relieves the 
  7. symptoms. Some sufferers learn to avoid 
  8. certain foods, such as chocolate, which 
  9. suggests an allergic factor.
