Microsurgery is a part or all of an intricate
surgical operation-rejoining a severed limb,
eg: performed with the aid of a binocular
microscope, using miniaturized instruments.
Sewing of the nerves and blood vessels is
done with a nylon thread so fine that it is
only just visible to the naked eye.
