  1. A greyhound is an ancient breed of DOG, with 
  2. a long narrow head, slight build, and long 
  3. legs. It stands up to 75cm (30inches) tall. 
  4. It is renowned for its swiftness, and can 
  5. exceed 60kph (40mph). Greyhounds were bred to 
  6. hunt by sight, their main quarry being hares.
