The Garden of Eden is in the Old Testament
book of Genesis and in the Koran, the
"garden" in which Adam and Eve lived after
their creation, and from which they were
expelled for disobedience. Its location has
often been identified with the Fertile
Crescent in Mesopotamia which is now in
Iraq, and two of its rivers with the
Euphrates and the Tigris.
