  4. spikes of bell-like flowers, and grows up to
  5. 1.5 m/5 ft high. The wild species Digitalis
  6. purpurea, native to Britain, produces purple
  7. to reddish flowers. It was the original
  8. source of digitalis, a drug used for some
  9. heart problems.
