Cults are a system of religious worship, or
a devotion or homage to a person or thing.
Cults have been given a bad name through the
media's coverage of tragedies such as in
Waco, USA and cults in which people are
encouraged to commit suicide. However not
all cults involve such sacrifice. There are
television cults such as the 1990s phonemena
The X-Files. There are also cults like the
druid movement and the worshipping of
Stonehenge. A cult evolves from a group of
people with similar beliefs and likes, who
want to follow their instincts devotingly.
