  1. A tool which,in it's shortened form,can be
  2. used in one hand but needs two hands in the 
  3. lengthened form.
  4. It consists of a wooden handle with a metal
  5. head attached to its top.The head has a 
  6. sharpened face(sometimes two faces)in the
  7. form of a blade and is used to chop and split
  8. wood and to fell trees.
  9. During Medieval times it was used as a weapon
  10. of war in the two-headed form called a Battle
  11. -Axe.
  12. "To Axe"is also an expression used to mean
  13. drastic reductions in,for example,public
  14. expenditure,personnel or for the early ending
  15. of projects.
