  1. WELCOME TO GLOBALINK WEB TRANSLATOR TRIAL VERSION

  3. Globalink Web Translator Trial Version is a time-limited demonstration
  4. version of Globalink Web Translator 1.1, including full translation and
  5. dictionary editing functionality. You will have seven days to use the
  6. program from the first time Globalink Web Translator Trial Version is
  7. started. To continue to enjoy Globalink Web Translator, please contact
  8. your Globalink retailer to obtain a fully licensed version.

  10. SPECIAL NOTE TO PREVIOUS USERS OF GLOBALINK WEB TRANSLATOR 
  11.  
  12. Globalink Web Translator Trial Version can co-exist with an existing
  13. installation of Globalink Web Translator. 
  14.  
  15. By default, Globalink Web Translator Trial Version is installed to the
  16. special directory C:\WTTRIAL. The installation procedure allows you to
  17. choose a different directory if you wish. 
  18.  
  19. DO NOT, however, install Globalink Web Translator Trial Version to the
  20. same directory (default C:\WEBTRANS) as your existing installation of
  21. Globalink Web Translator. Doing so will overwrite the previous version
  22. and may result in the loss of data and configuration information. If you
  23. wish to preserve and return to your original version, you must install
  24. Globalink Web Translator Trial Version to its own, separate directory.

  27. Trial Version, for instructions on how to reactivate your original
  28. installation.

  30. UNINSTALLING GLOBALINK WEB TRANSLATOR TRIAL VERSION

  32. When you are finished using Globalink Web Translator Trial Version, you
  33. can uninstall it by running the uninstall program provided. 
  34.  
  35. Simply choose the "Uninstall Web Translator" icon in your Globalink
  36. program group.

  38. If you have a previous installation of Globalink Web Translator, you can
  39. reactivate it by executing the following command in the File|Run dialog
  40. of File Manager or Program Manager, in the Start Menu|Run dialog of
  41. Windows 95, or at a Command Prompt:

  43. C:\WEBTRANS\PTSRV.EXE /Install 
  44.  
  45. where C:\WEBTRANS is the directory in which the previous version is
  46. installed.

  48. As a precaution, the uninstall program will not remove the cache
  49. directory (TPAGEDIR) or any user dictionaries you may have created with
  50. Globalink Web Translator Trial Version. If you do not wish to preserve
  51. these files, you may delete them manually.
