- Internet Configuration Manager and ZyXEL CAPI Installation
- -----------------------------------------------------------------------
- You can find a Setup program in this floppy disk. It will install all
- the necessary components into your personal computer. You can install
- the ZyXEL Internet Configuration Manager and ZyXEL CAPI through the
- following procedure:

- menu and type A:\Setup.exe and press OK(A: is the disk driver
- which you place the floppy disk).
-
- 3. Setup prompts you with a Welcome dialog box and ask you what directory
- you want to install the Configuration manager. The default directory is
- C:\ZyXEL\ZyConfig. You can change it by edit a new directory into the
- edit box. When you accept the directory path in the edit box,
- click the OK button.
-
- 4. Now the Setup program copy all necessary files into the directory which
- is accepted by the step 3.

- tell you this fact and end this installation.
-

- INF File Installation
- -----------------------------------------------------------------------
- Before installing a INF file to your operating system you must
- determine the following:
-
- (1) What operating system you use (eg. Windows 95 or Windows NT 3.51)
- (2) Model of your ZyXEL product (eg. Elite 286I or Omni TA128)
- (3) If you use ISDN you must determine which protocol is being used
- (eg. X.75 or async PPP HDLC)
-
-
- Next determine the correct directory for installation. This will depend
- on which operating system and model you use. In most cases just copy the
- INF file to your \INF directory and add a new MODEM to your system.
- However, to guarantee successful installation read the following thoroughly
- before proceeding. Please note that WINDOWS\INF directory maybe is a hidden
- directory.
-
- INF\WIN95\E2864I Elite 2864I INF file for Windows 95
- INF\WIN95\TA128 TA128 INF file for Windows 95
- INF\WIN95\omni.net omni.net INF file for Windows 95
